Hi. My name is Dawn and I am a wellbeing life coach. I am starting my own one woman wellbeing coaching business.

What is wellbeing coaching? Well, I am going to offer a non clinical/ non therapeutic service that focuses on building the foundations of wellbeing, so that you have a toolkit to navigate everyday life; and live a life that brings you fulfilment, joy and also helps keep you on your feet when times get tough.

So what I am really passionate about is finding out who you are! What are your values? Goals? Motivations? Strengths? Weaknesses? I believe that sometimes we lose ourselves, and get disconnected from who we are as people. And if you are living a life that is out of sync with what our true values are, then we will feel unhappy and disconnected from ourselves.

I am really passionate about wellbeing. I have my own experience of living with poor mental health and wellbeing, and just finding things that help navigate life has made such a huge difference to my life and I want to help other people to live the best life they can.

Its not about never having any problems. Life happens, and we will suffer from things that bring us sadness and stress. But if you know how to maneuver through those life challenges, then it won’t feel like the end of the world is happening . And I believe that one of the most important things that make us feel like we can get through life’s challenges, is to be connected to ourselves. If we know our triggers and weaknesses, as well as our strengths and motivations, then we know what we can manage ourselves and what we need support with.

Simply, I want you to know that you can get through tough times. You can work on yourself to build a toolkit so it’s there when you need it.

We have first aid kits for accidents. If you drive, you might keep an emergency kit in your car. Just think of wellbeing coaching as a toolkit for everyday living.

My little business is a work in progress. Like all of us. It’s pre start up, and I do want to launch in the next 6 months. In my defense, I have a lot going on and need to dedicate the time to put together a launch. But so often, we just see the finished product, and I want to show the highs as well as the lows, as i launch. I’m all about being authentic and life has highs and lows. We should embrace both sides of life.
